Summer Hockey School

  • Location: Mennen Sports Arena
  • Cost: $375 per week or $650 for both weeks
  • Session 1: July 14 - 18
    • Mite - Squirt: 8:30 am - 2:30 pm
    • PeeWee - Midget: 11 am - 4:30 pm

  • Requirements
    1. Students must be between the ages of six to 16. Certificate of Birth may be required to verify age.
    2. A doctor’s verification indicating that the student is physically and mentally capable to participate is required by all students.
    3. Medical Insurance - The Morris County Park Commission does not provide medical insurance for students. In the event of illness or injury requiring treatment, hospitalization, and/or surgery, the family medical insurance must be used. The Park Commission strongly recommends that students be covered by some form of personal medical insurance.
    4. Check-in for all students on the first day of school: Time - Monday mornings one (1) hour prior to the start of the assigned group class. All students late or absent from class cannot make up their ice time. All students are encouraged to be on time.
    5. It is required that all students put personal identification on equipment as the school is not responsible for loss of equipment.
    6. Equipment - All students are required to have the following equipment for school:
      Skates
      Hockey hose
      Elbow pads
      Garter belt
      Hockey jersey
      Mouth guard
      Helmet with facemask
      Pants
      Shin guards
      Supporter with cup
      Shoulder pads
      Gloves
      Hockey stick
      Goaltender must be fully equipped
      Students must wear full equipment on the ice at all times including helmet, mouth guard, and facemask. This policy is strictly adhered to throughout the program.
    7. Each student will receive a team jersey on the first day of camp.
  • Refund Policy

    Players who leave a session because of their own desire, late arrivals or early departures, players expelled by management, or “no shows” will not be given credit and/or a refund. A $25 administrative fee will be charged for cancellations and/or refund requests prior to July 1. No refunds after July 1. PAYMENTS ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE

  • Description

    The camp emphasizes skating and fundamental hockey skills, lifting the player to a more competitive level of hockey. Coaches focus on team play concepts, as well as developing a better grasp of individual skills. All players should have at least one year of hockey experience. Players between ages 6 and 16.
