"No Place Like Home"

If you call Morris County ‘home’ because you live, work, attend school, or socialize here, then you enjoy the pleasures of its many wonderful and unique gems.  For over five decades, the Morris County Park Commission has dedicated resources to preserving historic buildings, treasured gardens, significant artifacts, and national heritage. The places, stories, and artifacts preserved are of significant local and national importance. 

Throughout the month of May, ‘No Place Like Home’ series, offers events, tours, and exhibits for kids and adults that highlight people, places, and plants that have been saved and restored in honor of National Preservation Month.

The Morris County Park Commission received an operating support grant from the New Jersey Historical Commission, a division of the Department of State.

Frantic Fun Run 5K

The Frantic Fun Run 5K on Tuesday, June 25 is a rare opportunity to run through the 19th century Fosterfields Living Historical Farm in Morris Township.  Participants race through history on a cross-country trail.  Runners receive custom moisture wicking t-shirts, and awards. Enjoy the post-race party including raffle prizes, DJ entertainment, and food.
