Morris County Park Commission is hosting Food Revolution Day in conjunction with The Jamie Oliver Foundation. It is a global initiative to stand up for real food. “Thousands of people worldwide will participate in events to raise awareness on preventing diet-related diseases, and to arm people with the knowledge and tools to make healthier food choices.”
Enjoy fitness classes, listen to lecture topics ranging from Genetically Modified Organisms to benefits of a raw vegetarian diet, and observe a variety of cooking demonstrations. Come and join the movement!

Meet the lambs and watch hand-shearing of the sheep. See how fleece is processed and made into garments. Hands-on activities include weaving and spinning. Make crafts to take home.

Race through history on a cross-country style trail that blazes through the heart of Fosterfields Living Historical Farm. Beyond a majestic backdrop and rare opportunity to run through the 19th century style farm, registrants enjoy raffle prizes, music, and refreshments, including hot dogs. Runners receive custom t-shirts, and awards are presented after the race.
